Plumber in Hialeah
Older single-story housing where the original supply and waste are often still in service.
Part of our core Miami-Dade service area.
Hialeah is predominantly older, low-rise, single-story housing, much of it built in the decades after the war and a good deal of it still running the services it was built with.
That makes the plumbing picture here relatively consistent — which is unusual in Miami-Dade, and useful.
Galvanized supply
This is the defining issue in the oldest Hialeah housing.
Galvanized steel corrodes from the inside. The bore narrows year on year, and because the loss is so gradual, households adjust to it without noticing. The tell is not a leak. It is:
- Pressure that has dropped across the whole property rather than at one fixture
- Pressure that is noticeably worse when more than one thing is running
- Discoloured water on first draw, especially after the property has stood
- Visible corrosion at any accessible joint
By the time a galvanized system is genuinely restricting flow, patching one section does very little, because the rest of the run is the same age and the same condition. That is the point at which repiping stops being an upsell and starts being the honest answer.
Cast-iron waste and slab construction
The other half of the older-housing inheritance: cast-iron drains that have scaled internally, with the recurring-blockage signature that goes with them.
Most of this housing is single-story on slab, so supply pipework runs under concrete. A leak there shows up as a warm floor, damp at the base of a wall, or a meter that never rests — and re-routing overhead is usually far better than breaking the floor of an occupied house.
A Spanish-first neighborhood
Worth stating plainly: this site, the quote form and our written quotes are all available in Spanish, and the Spanish version is not a machine translation. If Spanish is how you would rather do business, use the Spanish page and everything comes back in Spanish — including the questions we ask before quoting.
Living through the work
Repiping and drain replacement in an occupied family home is the most common version of this job here, and the practical questions matter more than the technical ones.
Water goes off in sections rather than for the whole job. We sequence so a bathroom stays in service. Dust containment goes up before the first opening is made, because cutting drywall without it puts fine dust through an entire house.
What we do here most
Repiping and partial repipes, cast-iron drain replacement, slab leak detection and re-routing, drain clearing, and general repairs and handyman work on older properties.
All plumbing work is completed to the Florida Building Code, by a licensed Florida contractor, Lic. #CFC1433820.

Questions we get asked about this
Do you have Spanish-speaking service?
The whole site, the quote form and our written quotes are available in Spanish. Use the Spanish version of this page and everything — including the questions we ask and the quote you receive — comes back in Spanish.
My pressure is bad in the mornings only. What is that?
Usually narrowed supply pipework showing itself under load, when several properties or several fixtures draw at once. Galvanized supply loses diameter from the inside, and the first time anybody notices is when demand goes up.
Is repiping disruptive for a family staying in the house?
Less than people expect. Water goes off in sections rather than for the duration, and we sequence so a bathroom stays in service. Dust containment goes up before the first opening is made.
