Who we are
BritFix arranges and manages plumbing, handyman and property maintenance work across Miami-Dade and the surrounding South Florida area. Licensed plumbing is carried out by a licensed Florida contractor. This policy covers this website and our mobile app.
What we collect
Only what you type into the quote form: your name, email address, an optional phone number, the service and area you selected, and your description of the job. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — which pages people read, and whether a visit ends in a quote request. It sets cookies in your browser and records an approximate location, not your address. The site sets no advertising cookies and we do not use the data to target you. Your language choice is stored in your own browser and never leaves it.
Why we collect it
To reply to you about your job and to prepare a written quote. Nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, or send you marketing you did not ask for.
Who processes it
Quote submissions are delivered by Formspree, which processes the message on our behalf. If you contact us by WhatsApp, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp under their own terms. The site itself is served from Amazon CloudFront, which logs standard request data. Site usage statistics are processed by Google Analytics under Google's own terms.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept as long as needed to quote and carry out the work, and afterwards as long as we are required to keep records of work performed.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it. Use the quote form and say so, and we will confirm when it is done. If you would rather not appear in our site statistics, your browser's privacy settings or Google's own opt-out add-on will stop it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
Tell us about the job
Send the details and we come back to you with a written quote. No call center, no runaround.
